Admissions

Information concerning the time of entry to school is published in the Suffolk County Council “Information for Parents and Lists of Schools” booklet (a copy is available in the office or from the link at the bottom of this page). We have an admissions number of 30 and have one admission date at the start of the academic year for all pupils who would be turning 5 during that year.

Visits to Beck Row Primary School are welcomed and encouraged so that you can see our Early Years team in action. It is also helpful to have read our Admissions Policy and School Prospectus before you visit, to have questions ready to ask.

To apply for a place at Beck Row Primary School, please download a ADM1 form from www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissionstoschools or alternatively you can obtain a form from the school office.

The 1980 Education Act allows parents much more freedom in the selection of schools for their children, although for a variety of reasons parents are encouraged to send their children to their local school. We would advise all parents of children about to start school to visit both Beck Row and other schools and talk to the Headteachers before making a decision.
